AKA Receives Five Awards at
PRSA Pepperpot Ceremony


Philadelphia - Dec. 7, 2006 - Anne Klein & Associates Inc. (AKA) earned recognition from the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for five superior public relations programs.  AKA received the awards at the chapter’s 38th annual Pepperpot Awards dinner held at The Ben Franklin House in Philadelphia.

AKA received a first-place Pepperpot in the “Institutional Programs” category for “Unifying Our Ministry Through ‘Many Hands. One Heart.™’,” a strategic branding campaign created for Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries. AKA received a second first-place Pepperpot in the “Limited Budget Programs” category for “Promoting Financial Literacy to Reinforce Industry Leadership,” a program created for the Radian Group, a financial services company.

Three second-place Pepperpot awards were presented to AKA: in the “Media Relations” category for “Naming the Nobels: Raising the Profile of a Research Partner,” a campaign developed for Thomson Scientific, the scientific business unit of the Thomson Corporation; in the “Special Events and Observances” category for “Celebrating Four Milestones – Noramco’s Achievements,” an event for Noramco, Inc.; and in the “Public Service” category for “Building a Bridge to Students’ Futures,” a community relations program for Noramco, Inc. A subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, Noramco, Inc. produces fine chemicals for the pharmaceutical industry.
