Anne Klein Communications Group Named Approved Provider for Crisis Counsel for United Educators’ Insureds

Marlton, NJ - August 26, 2008 -
United Educators (UE), a member-owned insurance company, has named Anne Klein Communications Group, LLC (AKCG) an approved provider for crisis communications consulting for its education institution clients, based on UE member recommendations and the firm’s reputation.

United Educators selected AKCG because both organizations take a proactive approach to crisis situations – emphasizing preparedness as the key to both reputation and claims management.

UE is an industry leader in providing practical risk management resources to educational institutions. Members with primary general liability and educators legal liability have up to $50,000 of Crisis Communications Coverage for crisis response counseling at no additional cost to the insured.

Of seven approved firms, AKCG is the only crisis communications firm located in the Northeast region of the United States.

“We believe that Anne Klein Communications Group’s philosophy and approach to crisis communications mirrors our own,” said Robb Jones, UE’s senior vice president and general counsel for claims and risk research. “AKCG’s depth of experience will be of value to our members.”

“For years, we have urged our clients to plan for the unthinkable, to be sure their operations plans are in place, and then make sure they anticipate communication needs,” said Anne Sceia Klein, president of AKCG.
