Rowan Student Receives First Anne Sceia Klein Award for Professional Promise

Marlton, NJ - December 5, 2008  - Rowan University senior Gregory D. Richter of Burlington, N.J., was named the inaugural recipient of the Anne Sceia Klein Award for Professional Promise at the annual Pepperpot Awards, presented by the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on Dec. 4.

The award, which was established by Anne Klein Communications Group, a national public relations firm based in the Philadelphia region, recognizes a college senior who has demonstrated his or her dedication to advancement in the public relations field through internships, course work, letters of recommendation and an essay. The recipient must be a member of a Public Relations Student Society of America chapter affiliated with the Philadelphia chapter of PRSA.

Anne Sceia Klein, APR, Fellow PRSA and founder and president of Anne Klein Communications Group, LLC, presented the award along with a check for $500 to Richter.

“Greg’s dedication and experiences as a student made him an outstanding candidate for this award,” said Klein. “Our firm is committed to the development of up-and-coming public relations practitioners, and we are thrilled to have established this new annual award to recognize local students with great professional promise.”
