Christopher J. Lukach, APR, Sr. Vice President & COO
Chris Lukach is senior vice president, chief operating officer and a member of the ownership team at Anne Klein Communications Group, LLC, where he brings his strategic planning, writing and media skills to bear as he leads accounts in the healthcare, information services, financial, chemical and education industries.
Chris is a key member of the AKCG crisis communications practice. He has been instrumental in developing crisis communications plans and consulting with clients facing crises in the healthcare, higher education, information services, chemical manufacturing and financial industries. Chris also is a key member of the firm’s spokesperson training team.
A frequent lecturer and author on social media, Chris leads the AKCG social media practice. He has been instrumental in developing social media programs for AKCG’s clients, particularly for healthcare and social-service clients seeking ways to use social media to engage with discrete audience segments.
His work on targeted media relations programs has provided opportunities to develop relationships with reporters from many top-tier media outlets including The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the BBC and ABC’s Good Morning America, in addition to well-known organizations such as the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Chris received the 2007 Fast-Track Award from the Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA), the oldest and largest independent PR organization in the country. The award recognizes a young professional who exemplifies the organization’s vision for the future. His programs and published works have been recognized with awards from the Philadelphia and New Jersey chapters of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), and from the PRNews in its national NonProfit PR awards competition.
He currently serves as president of PPRA. He is an accredited member of PRSA and is active with its Philadelphia chapter, as well as with the Philadelphia Ad Club. Chris is a magna cum laude graduate of Rowan University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a specialization in public relations. He was active in the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where, as Rowan’s chapter president, he led his group to be recognized as the “Outstanding Chapter in the Nation.”
