Having been associated with Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the nation's oldest children's hospital, for over 34 years and a
marketing/public relations consultant to more than a dozen hospitals, Shirley has expertise in every aspect of communications for hospitals
and in healthcare. She has been recognized for her work in public relations, marketing, development and government relations. A sought
after consultant, board and committee member, Shirley has written widely on health services branding, communications management and
other healthcare related topics in dozens of articles, several book chapters and two books. She has lectured throughout the United States and
