Photo: Mike Gross Mike Gross, a member of the ownership team, manages and supports several key accounts at Anne Klein Communications Group. For each account, Mike provides strategic planning and issues counseling, media relations and copywriting services. He has developed relationships with contacts at many well-respected media outlets including ABC’s “Good Morning America,” ABC’s “World News Tonight,” the Wall Street Journal, the Christian Science Monitor, the Washington Post, the Boston Globe and BusinessWeek.

He has been instrumental in the agency winning awards from the Philadelphia and New Jersey chapters of the Public Relations Society of America, and from the PRNews in the national NonProfit PR Awards competition.

Prior to joining AKCG, Mike organized and managed special projects for Cherry Hill (N.J.) Township, one of the largest governmental bodies in southern New Jersey. In addition, he was the mayor’s primary speech writer for township events.

Mike has extensive experience in news writing and media contact. He is a member of the Philadelphia Sports Writers Association, and has assisted the organization as an event planner, helping to coordinate and oversee the association’s annual awards banquet, including its centennial banquet that featured a panel of more than 100 distinguished athletes and journalists with hundreds of news media and sports enthusiasts in attendance.

Mike received his bachelor of arts degree from Rowan University where he was an account executive in PRaction, the Public Relations Student Society of America Rowan chapter’s public relations firm. As the firm’s account executive, Mike developed a variety of communication plans, including a community outreach program for a nonprofit organization and a positioning plan for a new product launch. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves as chair of the membership committee for PRSA's Philadelphia chapter.
